ＪＲ西日本 湖西線にて勤務
列車見張員の役割は「①列車の接近を確実に把握し、他の見張り員や工事管理者に伝え、作業員の安全を確保する。②危険を感じたときや、工事管理者の指示があったとき、列車停止合図を行い、列車の防護に努める。」です。一般の方々に目に留まる機会が少ない業務ですが、鉄道事故は発生すれば大惨事になりますからとても大切な業務のひとつです。
特急サンダーバード
湖西線には、時速１３０Ｋｍで走行する特急サンダーバードの進来があります。
運行速度が速いですから当然工事現場までの到達時間は短くなり、監視業務も特に集中力の持続が求められるものでした。（勤務中に写真を撮るようなことはできませんので、写真はサイトからの転載です。）
以前に紹介させていただきました、野田鶴声社の笛。それも憧れのＰｕｒｅＧｏｌｄ（純金めっき）仕様の笛を頂きました。
でも、これってよく見ると「高音域、サッカー用途」のタイプでは？？？
警備員向けの音域ではないのかもしれません。でも、大切に使わせて頂きますね。ありがとうございました。
忠臣蔵ゆかりの兵庫県赤穂市で、吉良邸討ち入りの日にあたる１４日、四十七士の遺徳をしのぶ「赤穂義士祭」が開かれました。事前の天気予報ではあいにくのお天気というう予想でしたが、当日は晴天に恵まれ約７万２千人の観客が見守る中、勇壮な義士行列をはじめ、たくさんの団体のパレードなどがあり会場は大変にぎわいました。
当社の警備隊は、千種川河川敷に設けられた臨時駐車場（２箇所）の交通誘導警備を担当させていただきました。交通誘導警備業務検定合格者４名を含む各警備隊員が、来場されるお客様のお出迎え、お見送りというイベントでは重要な役割を任せられているという認識を踏まえ、お客様とのふれあいも楽しみながら安全な誘導に努めました。
